Was there ever a heavyweight fight to rival Foreman vs. Lyle in the following way?

I cannot think of a fight between two such equally matched fighters in terms of size, power, and durability that ever waged such an explosive war before or since. I can think of plenty of examples where two equally matched fighters like these two fought, but not so evenly and not to such an extent; these for instance:
    Baer vs. Carnera
    Liston vs. Williams
    Patterson vs. Johansson
    Tyson vs. Smith

All examples of fighters equally or almost equally matched in power, but failed to deliver for one reason or another. Of course, Baer dominated Carnera and Bonehugger hugged all night. Patterson and Liston each received trouble from their opponents for a brief period of time before turning the fights in their own favor, dominating, and finally winning. Was there ever fight at all like Foreman-Lyle? I don't think there was ever a better one based on my criteria.

Well, physical size is not overly important, but mostly physical power and toughness, and as far as I'm concerned it meets the criteria.

That's one of the closest I could think of.

Not sure if it's what your looking for but what about Moorer v Cooper? That was a nice good heavyweight war.

The 2nd Tyson vs Ruddock fight was damn full on brutal, the flush shots that they were landing on each other and that went 12 full rounds. I think that fight took a helluv lot out of both of them especially Ruddock who looked like a road traffic accident victim at the end.
