He weighed above welterweight and below middleweight in17 middleweight title fights.

    YES?
    or
    NO?

FYI 160pounder means a fighter who competes/competed at middleweight ,for which the upper limit is 160 pounds.
Everyone and his little OLD GRANNY knows this ,everyone but you apparently.lol

Tyson was far more skilled than Peter and just holding your hands up in a high guard does not make you Tyson, Arthur did not have Mike`s head movement or devastating combo`s, these two names should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Mike.

    1. Fitzsimmons
    2. Choynski (weighted 160 a couple times according to boxrec)
    3. McClellan
    4. Ketchel
    5. Benn
    6. Jackson
    7. Valdez
    8. GGG
    9. Lausse
    10. RJJ

If Choynski doesn't count then everyone below moves up a spot and Hearns get the 10th spot maybe SRR. Archie Moore fought at middleweight early in his career too.

Peter out-worked a sloppy Toney and Abraham did not have Tyson`s speed P4P.

If we're talking pure power, then David Lemieux should at least rate a mention.

do you really believe that this guy was a top knockout puncher at 160? He hardly throws a punch, then he gets knocked down by a push/jab. Comparing him to trained fighters is a joke. He fights like he has never trained in boxing. He wouldn't last 30 seconds against anyone in the top 200 at 160 today. Look at the video, this guy wouldn't be licensed today in a state with a good commissioner.

What was Jeffries planning on doing with that left hand? He couldn't use it defensively or offensively out like that. This stuff is primitive at best.

Do you know that this is not Jeffries nor Fitzsimmons? This is not real fight either - these are two actors. They "fight" like that because they never trained boxing in their life.

Are you just stupid or are you trolling?

You Tube doesn't mention that these are not the real fighters. If you're right and these are actors, it shows how primitive the fighters of that day were when two actors could take their place and look as good or better than the fighters. Fitzsimmons looks as skilled/trained in this one as he did vs. Corbett...Was that an actor playing Fitzsimmons in that one too or was that the real thing? The "fighters" of that era were worse than I thought, untrained thespians could "box" as well as the champs.

This sentence doesn't make any sense...
This actor doesn't like Fitzsimmons at all. He doesn't move like Fitzsimmons, he doesn't have his stance and he doesn't defend himself like Fitz.
For someone who claims that has such a big knowledge on boxing technique, it's funny that you can't find any difference between Fitzsimmons and an actor who doesn't even try to look like a boxer.
So instead of admitting that you're mistaken, you decide to drive on narrative that fighters fought as badly as actors back then? That's pathetic...

This is the proof of Fitzsimmons power:

He knocked out a durable opponent who was over 20 lbs heavier with one body punch and this body punch was set up beautifully. But sure, he looks the same as this clueless actor...

He hit him in the solar plexus, doesn`t take much power to stop a guy by hitting him near the heart.
