Everyone talks about how old Holyfield was and everyone talks about the scorecards but who'd have won if they fought prime for prime?

Prime Holyfield beats pre-Steward Lewis UD in an exciting fight where Holy gets knocked down hard at one point.

" "" "" Holyfield SD over Steward Lewis.

I'd pick Lewis. There's likely to be some measure of bias here having seen Lewis take so many rounds from Holyfield in their real world fights. But I do think Lewis would find seven rounds.

I also think, and this is always a bone of contention, I wasn't even going to mention it, that Lewis might have done better against Holyfield in his physical prime. Holyfield was a very clever fighter by the time of his match with Lewis and understood winning very, very well. He knew he had to slooooow the fight right down to get the best of it I think and i'm not sure that at his most dangerous he wold have taken that attitude and that might have worked for Lewis. It tended to work for him.
