You dont think pushing, tugging and mauling against a heavy hitting man, 6 inches taller ,and 48lbs heavier would have an effect on your stamina?
How about people younger that 37,38, and 39/40? Ever boxed a fit man nearly 50lbs heavier than yourself?

Marciano's stamina is the goat at heavyweight, stop

He never even showed exhaustion once. Don't even infer that Tyson has an equivalent tank

    Marciano drowns him.

Smith nullified Tyson's power not with his length and reach, but by clinching and getting on the inside.
You ain't getting your way with Marciano fighting on the inside for 15 or even 12 rounds.
Smith would put up a good fight, but he gets stopped under 10.

He was off balance whether it was the punch or a push, which would have gotten him down also. But the rules are it would be a knockdown. I see what you say about Mike and Tillis. Ray Leonard always made the comment that if a fighter has his feet together he can go down, so I see what you mean.. I always liked the Bramble knockdown of Crawley in 1986. I think it was round 2. He clipped him with a fast right and Crawley sort of went to his gloves fast and then got up. But it was called a knockdown by Joey Curtis, who was never great at stopping fights at the right time.

While Rocky never faced a power puncher over 200 lbs who was in his prime, i think Bonecrusher isn't in Rocky's league.

I think Marciano would wear him down and stop him over 15 rounds. Over 12, Bonecrusher can last the distance and lose a decision.

As Marciano was not nearly as quick handed nor as quick footed as Tyson, Bonecrusher would be more willing to play into Marciano's hands and trade with him. Against Tyson, Bonecrusher was hopeless and knew he couldn't do anything. He wouldn't be bothered by Rocky's speed and would likely exchange with him.

I feel Marciano would use his short height to his advantage, get underneath Bonecrushers best punches and give him a beating to the body. I think Marciano wins but Bonecrusher has a outside punchers chance.

Good matchup between two crude brawlers. I'll take the guy who's 6" taller and 40 lbs heavier.

Sorry! I did forget to bring up that Tyson had around 40 pounds on The Rock and was a more skilled and superior H2H fighter. Smith definitely has the power to KO the rock. Though I'd lean towards Rocky to win, likely in the championship rounds. I also disagree that Marciano's pace was inferior to Tyson's. Marciano's work-rate was absolutely insane. Tyson's while by no means bad, could not keep up his work-rate all round every round. His endurance simply wasn't on that level.

It's closer to 25 pounds than it is to 40. Tyson weighed 219 against Smith and a very reasonable assessment of Marciano's championship weight would be 187. That's 32 pounds.

I read Marciano was in reasonably good shape at 200-205 lbs but he would train so hard that he would drop down to 185-190 ish. Not sure how true it is but i guess it could be true.

I remember Tyson coming in at 220 something in his prime and always thought Marciano's prime weight was 184 but it does seem that 40 pounds was somewhat of an overstatement and concede that I was wrong.

40 pounds is not even close Swag. Tyson was under 220 for 8 out of his 10 successful prime title fights. He was as low as 215 3/4 for Holmes. Marciano was 187 or more for both Charles fights and never came in as low as a flat 184.
