Floyd in his late 30's, past his prime and a natural 140lb'er humiliated Canelo who GGG couldn't beat, even got a second chance and blew it. And before the usual suspects come in saying Triple Hype was robbed, PLEASE, those 24 rounds were close, could of gone either way, fact is both guys were not good enough either offensively or defensively to impose themselves and win rounds clearly, Floyd even past his prime was on a different level as we saw when Canelo was given a boxing lesson by Money.

GGG ain't landing **** on a prime Floyd.

    UD all day long.

    1. Floyd was past his prime sure, but Canelo was pre-prime too @ 23yo.
    2. The fight was at a catch weight I think (152lbs), not even 154. This one was is presumably at 160 (another 8lbs plus rehydration).
    3. Floyd and GGG are very different fighters and how they do vs one opponent doesn't really mean much in a fight between the two.
    4. GGG was past prime against a Canelo bang in his prime.

GGG landed more on Canelo than Floyd landed on Saul in his rematch v Canelo, GGG landed far more jabs than Floyd did, GGG would have destroyed DLH.

According to punch stats , Mayweather landed more jab on Canelo than Golovkin did.

And Canalo landed far more power punches on Golovkin than he landed on Mayweather.

The only thing GGG has over Mayweather is a massive size advantage. . If the were the same size Mayweather would totally clown him.

The size advantage would be no more than what Canelo had.

Neither was a middleweight when Floyd beat them and if GGG hit Floyd a much as Cotto did he`d destroy him, GGG certainly won his first bout v Canelo, do a poll if you don`t believe that.

GGG throws far more jabs than Floyd does in fights, Floyd isn`t known for his jab.

Mayweather had a good jab and was known for pumping it into guys mid sections. Compubox shows he landed more jabs on Canelo than Golovkin did.
Canelo landed double the amount of power punches on Golovkin than he landed on Mayweather

Golovkin is bigger than Canleo and Canelo was smaller against Mayweather than the Canelo that fought GGG.
GGG could never boil down to 152 because he is naturally bigger than Canelo. If Golovkin had moved up to 168 he would have been pasted back down to 160. Mayweather was successful throughout 5 divisions.
