Really?? In what way. Hearn promotes one of the world champions at light heavyweight and has promoted various fighters to PPV level over the last decade
Check for Richards on Matchrooms website, you can work out who Buatsi was supposed to be fighting on this card.
All the good LHWs fight in the US. Bivol jumps ship all the time, he's better off staying at top rank too. I know you work for Eddie but he doesnt have any power at LHW, and Josh Buatsi is not going to be some PPV star. The best thing he could do to get in some better fights is sign for Top Rank or Frank which would at least open the door to some bigger fights.
You realise who Buatsi's manager is? He aint signing with Warren. Whats happened with the stalling of his career has nothing to do with Hearn, its a combination of Buatsi being too cautious and injuries. He pulled out of 2 fights last year, one headlining, saying he wasnt 100%. When you have Joshua as your manager you can get away with that stuff.
Sorry I said that wrong, he should base himself there if he wants to make waves at LHW. There has been talk of him wanting to go down to SMW which would make sense to stay with Hearn if that was the case, but as it stands, Bivol is wasting his time with Hearn if he wants to be successful at LHW, similar to Crawford fighting at Top Rank where he's going nowhere as he should try and go to PBC.
Well as it stands, his career will continue to make minimal progress. I'm yet to be convinced that he should stay with Hearn/AJ as you pointed out.
I’ll judge the Povetkin-Whyte card when he’s finished. The other two cards announced absolutely stink on paper. Buatsi’s existence as an interesting fighter is fading rapidly.
I've long lost interest in him The stalling and watching him struggle with and cheap shot domestic opposition has turned me off However i know there's something there and i live in hope he sparks an interest once again And yes those cards are rotten Lets be honest British boxings boom period is over for now Talent wise anyway, at least until the talent that is coming through peaks
Of course it was , No Easy Fights was the slogan for Fight Camp, you didn't expect Eddie to continue with it forever more did you ?
