Why did Mayweather take it easy on McGregor but go all out on Nasukawa?

Can't think of why Mayweather would KO Nasukawa so quickly, however I think he carried McGregor to give fans more of their money's worth. Mayweather's biggest fights; DLH and Pacquiao were considered stinkers. Most fans, especially MMA fans were satisfied with the McGregor fight and thought there was more action.

The answer is because McGregor was pounding him and Floyd was suddenly out of his depth. He basically fought to survive until Conor's steam was gone. Floyd may or may not have trained for that, but anybody thinking Mayweather deliberately looked like shyte for "entertainment" value needs their head read. Floyd "the ego" Mayweather never did that before that I can recall.

Probably thought that if McGregor did ok he might be able to sell a rematch

The leprechaun was much larger than Mayweather, so Floyd had to be careful.

McGregor actually surprised Floyd. He clearly won those first 3 rounds because he was boxing really well. Floyd had a though time in those first few rounds.
But he said post fight that it was always their gameplan to take it slow and wear him down. So that´s what Floyd did. He figured McGregor out and by the 4th round or so, he was walking him down and getting the better of Conor.

Tenshin is a 5´5 featherweight. So it´s no wonder that Floyd just blasted him.
