Opinions you have that most would describe as hipster.

Mine is that heavyweight is worst division. Both for talent and entertainment.

/QUOTEWhat is "hipster" about that? I guess mine would be "I think the whole modern boxing scene sucks".

Joe Goddard was true heavyweight champion and I follow lineage from his reign.

Since the inception of the cruiserweight division no doubt. My hipster opinion is that that money-spinning creation was the downfall of the big boys by making way for the fat heavyweight and the proliferation of PED's. Because the mindset today is 'bigger is better'. Whereas, before the cruisers, heavyweights were actually trying to keep their weight in check to retain speed.

If "hipster" means someone who doesn't want to post a heavyweight thread every 30 minutes, color me hip.

I think a “hipster opinion” is one in which a person rejects popular tastes or opinions to separate themselves from the unsophisticated masses.

I’ve been called “hipster” because my favorite division historically is bantamweight and I watch fights from Asia, my favorite boxer is Eder Jofre and I think Tyson is overrated and Ali, Mayweather or Pacquaio aren’t the best ever.

I suppose it depends upon whom you are talking to.
