    So that men can feel superior. Same reason they make wnba players play with a smaller ball than youth males even though they are on average larger humans

    When the CTE and disfigurements start adding up in women's boxing/mma, we'll see how popular it all is then. They're in their little honeymoon period.

    I always wondered why they wouldn't give fighters a minute and a half break so the tv station could pay some bills with a commercial. Plus it would give them a rest too:;it's only 90 seconds.

    It's a joke. They get paid the same as men in tennis but play less sets. That's not equality its privilege. Same with womens football (soccer). They bring a fraction of the mens revenue yet they want equal pay

    Doesn't make sense. Especially considering women box 3 minute rounds in the amateurs. I know a lot of women would like to fight 3 minute rounds in the pros but men make the rules...

    In MMA everyone fights the same number of rounds and duration so guess they're slightly ahead.

    Hate these sexists comments on here.It is simple women are not as strong as men so therefore not as durable.Just enjoy it for what it is.During lockdown the women fights have been absolutely brilliant

    I'm fine with that but they should accept less of a purse. They can do the cardio easily to do 3 mins.
