The number of cases are doubling every eight days now. We’re entering our 2nd wave.

I just can’t see Eddie’s plans of having a couple of thousand fans at shows in a month or two coming to fruition.

I’m interested to see if he really does push ahead with shows like Usyk Chisora and AJ Pulev without fans and if so what these are going to look like. Fight camp visually looked great but outdoor fights are done for the year. I appreciate BT putting on shows but their studio shows look awful. Hope Eddie can come up with something creative.

Very unlikely to see huge fights with huge crowds as our Govt has proved beyond doubt they cannot run a bath never mind a national crisis.

Covid19 all over the UK has been mismanaged from day 1 and the circus continues.

Given the circumstances I am grateful for any boxing on our screens even though some of the cards and fights have been very poor.

Mick Hennessy produced a headline fight recently that could have been fight of the year in many of the past 20 years, Eh Day Hearn produced a fireworks display that could have graced any Guy Fawkes night/New Years Day and Frank gave us Daniel Dubois versus a Dutch Dumpling.

They are all doing their best in a difficult time and it looks like another lockdown is more likely then a boxing crowd.

No chance. Obviously no one at the top of boxing is chummy enough for the powers that be unlike horse racing.
This government really are a shower of ****. No idea on how to manage covid or brexit and no doubt behind the scenes setting themselves up nicely for some plum outsourcing contracts or non exec roles that fall off the back of this mess.

The scumbag corrupt tory **** weasels are planning another full national lockdown and further restrictions as herd immunity is being achieved. They need to slow down herd immunity because if we reach it before the vaccine is reading, then big pharma cant coin it in.

So yes I would now expect live boxing shows to be off the table this year

I understand many were predicting back in July that things wouldnt begin to start looking like normal until April next year.

I predict we dont get normal live shows until April 2021 at the earliest

Beginning to think August 2021 when life returns to normality as we used to know it.

We appear to be climbing a few ladders leading us directly to the huge snake and then we start all over again.

We now see Ticketmaster selling tickets for concerts in 2022!!!!

Absolutely depressing listening and watching these political clowns all over the UK mismanaging this crisis week after week.

    Four things would help immediately:

    1. Get the Council non frontline staff away from pushing pens on desks to getting out Inspecting Pubs and Restaurants for compliance with social distancing - close any not complying for 2 weeks and double the closure period every time there is a breach.
    2. Make all demonstrations illegal for 12 months or earlier if Covid 19 gone.
    3. Ban all overseas travel for 12 months or earlier if Covid 19 gone - holidays need to be sacrificed and business can be done without travel these days. It is much easier to bail out the Aviation and Travel industries than the whole economy.
    4. Increase fines to £500 for non compliance with masks, meeting in groups higher than 6 etc.

Same path = same outcomes and we will be in and out of lockdown pre vaccination unless the Govt grow a pair and sort this out properly taking timely and appropriate action when required.

There’s still plenty of NHS cloggers and pension getters to kill off yet. This has all been a plan by them. I will not be listening to any new lockdown rules as long as I’m working in a 10x30 ft space with 5 other men in a giant sardine tin with 5000 people. As for a one size fits all lockdown, they need to **** off. It should be a personal choice now. It should be up to people if they think it’s worth the risk, which the young will mainly think it is. Making people live like freaks because of the ‘accidentally on purpose’ negligence earlier in the year. New Zealand have had 25 deaths and had full stadiums in June. The rat Tory’s have blood on their hands and I’m not changing my life anymore while I still have to pay my taxes.
Get the stadiums open, the county is overpopulated anyway. Whoever lives lives.

The incompetence has cost nearly 42,000 UK lives and counting even in lockdown.

The public will not accept another lockdown as any goodwill has long gone.

    I quite enjoyed lockdown!!

It was quite a relaxing time, just chilling and enjoying real home cooked food instead of paying for sihte!!

Saved a fortune and didn't have to keep taking the enemy shopping every week.
I don't mind a little bit more of it!!
