Personally, I think it's bollocks. Wilder has spent a lot of his time hovering above Cruiserweight level, and has still dominated plenty of heavyweights.

This new division will risk splitting up the quality far too much.

Who really will give a crap about the super cruiserweight champion?

Plenty of cruiserweights come up to heavyweight and cause heavyweights a lot of problems despite only being slightly above CW level.

We don't need another division in my opinion, I don't think the smaller heavyweights are at too much of a disadvantage at all, as proven by Ruiz and Povetkin as well as many other examples over the years. It's more exciting to have a mix of smaller and bigger heavyweights.

    No.

The HW division is shyte enough as it is. Take all the "super cruisers" out of it and you'll have like 10 decent guys left.

175 - 200 for Cruiserweight is too large of a span, given all other weight classes span 8 lbs or less. Also, advancements in nutrition and sports medicine are making our best athletes bigger than they've ever been, so it makes sense that the minimum weight for HW be increased. Additionally, it's been a while since we've had a competitive HW champion less than 220, (I know Wilder weighed around 212 at one point early in his career) so there essentially exists a 20 lb "dead zone" from 200 to 220. Therefore, it makes sense that the span of weight from 175 to 220 covers two weight classes, and for HW to start at 220 (or at least 215).

Personally, i'd also prefer a re-naming of these weight classes:

    168 - 175 CW
    175 - 190 SCW
    190 - 215 or 220 LHW
    215 or 220 + HW

I think "Light Heavyweight" should be the weight class immediately below Heavyweight.
