His wife and his family is asking him to change his career since they can't stand to watch him being hurt in the ring anymore. Horn has no future in boxing right now. Good bye and good luck Horn.
Horndog is currently sitting on two miracles - the fight with Manny (just getting the fight, not winning it) & winning his rematch with Michael Zerafa after being 30-seconds away from being stopped himself. There's strong incentive for him to try for a third. If Horndog were to achieve a third miracle, he would qualify for Sainthood.
I don't think Jeff's as shot as some are suggesting. I don't think he was ever anything that special to begin with, certainly not an elite talent anyway, so when you put him in the ring with a quality opponent with fair reffing and judging, he's going to come up short and look lackluster by comparison nine times out of ten. He's been badly exposed in other words and probably should consider retiring for the sake of his longevity, that is unless he's happy with being a gatekeeper because it's evident that's his ceiling.
Well put, but a world level gatekeeper in Australia can earn career high paydays well past any sign of his best. Even if he retires, he will have a few big all Aussie shows in his next years, I'd nearly wager.
