Feel free to name some honorable mentions but try to name a top dog just the same.

The criteria is hand speed and power not effectiveness or greatness of punching tho that will obviously overlap quite heavily.

    HW: Tyson
    CW: Holyfield
    LHW: Spinks
    SMW: Jones Jr.
    MW: Jackson
    JMW: Hearns
    WW: Robinson
    LWW: De La Hoya
    LW: Williams
    SFW: Pacquiao
    FW: Hamed
    SBW: Rigo
    BW: Olivares
    SFly: Inoue
    Fly: Ebihara
    LFly: Chocolatito
    Min: Lopez?

I only included one guy per weight, but Roy Jones would be my picks at 160 & 175 too. Same with Pac at 140, 126 & 122 and Hearns at 147.

I'd probably only change Tyson for Joe Louis in George's list.

I thought exactly the same, but it's about speed and power, not abilities as a puncher and I figured that Tyson was both quicker and hit harder.

I thought similar, but his stay at 115 was extremely brief. Nana Konadu could also make the list.

There is no way some of those guys were quicker than the ones I mentioned. And I don't like calling guys like Dempsey a cruiserweight as he wasn't. He was a heavyweight.

I think the real difference was Nonito's feet. Inoue has good functional footwork. Donaire could do some outrageously athletic **** with his.

Tyson had both faster hands than Louis and was a bigger puncher.

Only thing I'd change on George's list is switch out Spinks and add in Foster at 175.

Foster had wickedly fast hands to go with his great power.

Another choice which I contemplated. I tend to think of Spinks a bit quicker, and Foster a bit more powerful. You could really have either.

Louis had quicker hands and crisper technique.

Patterson or Tubbs had the fastest hands I've ever seen above lhw, but lacked concussiveness
