Biggs stands the old fart on his head. Silly mismatch. Hideously one-sided.

Prime Tyson was playing with his food against Biggs. They had issues going back to the amateurs. Tyson started after the match he could have finished it earlier if he wanted which was the only time he ever made that comment.

Yeah? And Bugner beat Tillis just a few months after Tyson did so I don’t know what point you’re trying to make here or what the hell all that has to do with Bugner vs Biggs,Ant man?

Biggs was still good when he fought Damiani. He'd beat an old ass Bugner.

I would lean towards Bugner do to being the more proven fighter over a much longer career. But if truth be told it could be anybody’s fight. Neither were terribly aggressive or hard hitting. Guess it would come down to who was busier on a given evening

It would've been a bigger upset than Tyson-Douglas if Bugner were to of won.

    Ludicrous.

Yeah because he was like 50 years old against prime Bruno.
Biggs was stopped by ****in Larry Donald in 3 rounds,Lennox stopped him in 3,Mason also in 3....
That shows that Bugner would beat him with ease in 8-10 rounds UD or late KO.
Prime Bugner would beat him in 5 rounds.

An upset I agree, but not that big an upset. In the period Bugner showed if he fancied his chances, he would get himself in decent shape and show the fire that was often lacking in his career.

Biggs in Australia in October 87; Tyrell had been a bit stop and start in his career., with cuts seemingly an issue. I think Joe would believe he had the tools to cause Biggs problems, with the advantage of knowing he would get the nod in a close fight. So I take Bugner to be in shape and motivated.

But as I also suggested, Biggs was better than their work as a pro had thus far shown, and so I take him to be dominate enough, particularly in the second half of the fight to win a decision, even in Australia.

I thought Olympic Gold Medalists would always win over non-olympic medalists...

Not a cocaine addict who was past prime even against more past prime guy who still was proven.
    Bugner faced Lyle,Ali,Frazier,Shavers,Ramos,Wepner,London,cooper,Ellis....
He knocked Smith and beat Tillis whe he was past his prime easier than Tyson.
He also beat Page when Bugner was old and we know what Page did to Tyson.

Biggs probably wins a close decision. Youth on his size.

Bugner in 1986-'87 beat Tillis, Bey and Page, who were about as good as anyone Biggs beat.
In fact Bugner looked better against Bey than Biggs did in Bey's next fight.

Bugner was a bit heavy in October 1987 but Biggs was still hampered by the deep cut Bey put on him in March, so both have a weakness there.
