Which fight are you more interested in? Derevyanchenko vs Charlo or Kamil vs Gennady? Sometimes I feel bad for Charlo because he's got it the hardest here IMHO. He is in a lose lose situation. Charlo needs a flawless victory in some delusional fans eyes. It's almost as if Sergiy Derevyanchenko damaged Golovkin & now GGG must rebuild vs kamil Szereneta is a mandatory???? Wasn't this fight scheduled MONTHS AGO!!! If GGG doesn't KO this Kamil fellow, it's time for retirement..
Well Golovkin is my man so I'm pretty keen to see how he does. Szeremeta is a pretty good boxer with decent head movement. He likes to keep in range and throws straight punches. However, he doesn't appear to have much power and little speed. GGG should destroy him, imho. If Golovkin struggles with Kamil then put a fork in Gennadiy, he's cooked. Charlo / Derevyanchenko will be the better fight. I'm keen to see what Charlo does when Sergiy shows him angles and footwork, and it will be interesting to see if SD can handle Charlo's power.
Charlo v Derev is easily the better fight. I dunno what GGGS plan is nowx hes aging fast I guess hoping for a final Canelo cash out. He should have vacated and fought Cllum smith who is made for him he would had added a belt at a different division and be better placed for a canelo 3rd fight.
Derevyanchenko said fighting Szeremeta was part of the contract when he and GGG fought for the vacant IBF title. The winner was to fight Szeremeta next. The GGG haters just need to shut up. Just like the Pacquiao thing, quit jumping to conclusions. Your as predictable as a Democrat. If he don't fight him now he will have to fight him later. He shouldn't have to give up his belt to keep haters from hating.
Agree. The Kamil fight was always a soft touch, but it was a mandatory, and that's how it is. If Golovkin trashed the belt then guys like Canelo would say "you need a belt" as they had been wailing about earlier. People like Shadow would likely say that GGG was ducking Szeremeta because of his sweet head movement and other such nonsense. You can't win with these guys.
Charlo got beat by Matt Korobov but got the short end of the stick Lara did same to BOTH Charlo's & got the same treatment GGG has maybe softened up Derevyanchenko enough for Jermall to do enough to get another "win" I hope not I want to see the best man win
