Lets say Holyfield started at 22 years of age and 177lb as he did to step into Rockys footsteps, do you see him making it 49-0 https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/9032 ?

He´s at CW two years later (age 24) and a 205-210lb HW another two years later at the age of 26.
If he could make it, how many fights do see him win by stoppage?

Easily. He'd beat everyone Marciano beat and Rocky himself for my money. Marciano might have been 49-0 but he didn't have very many fights against Ring Ranked opposition.

It’s tough to say. I hate to bring this up because I love Holyfield but would he have access to the same PED’s? If so, yes, if not? Maybe he loses at least a fight but he’d still be great.

Is the question does Vander go through Rocky's record undefeated? Thats a yes vote from me.

He doesn´t need to be 215.

A trimmed 199 is more than the avarage 50s HW was at the time.

    Theoretically yes.

He might also slip up on a banana skin along the way!

I have a ton of respect for Rocky Marciano but I would take Evander over him. Evander was the more versatile fighter and had the chin to hold up against Marciano.

Taking him as he was, or how he would be without being able to be a walking steroid lab?

Anyway no. He clearly didn't show that level of consistency in his real career.

How so? Most would consider Marciano the best heavyweight of the 50's. If Holyfield was going to get to 49-0 he would most certainly have to go through the Rock.

I wonder how many people saying he couldn't lose to Ezzard Charles, Rex Layne and Jersey Joe Walcott, would predict him to lose to Michael Moorer, James Toney and John Ruiz.

I think they look at the question as he’s in his prime the whole time with a giant bio lab pumping him up. A roid less Holyfield (with or without) doesnt ever best Archie. Archie was made to ruin him. I don’t think he beats Charles. They rest he could prob beat Walcott Holy would be damn interesting.
