Eddies probably thinking that even if Kell loses that he'll still be able to do brook v Smith on ppv. He can say he lost to a p4p and that he struggled with the weight. 154 is where he should be fighting.
Sky / Eddie are not going to put Brook v Smith on PPV no chance, it would do disastrous numbers. Whyte- Povetkin did about 172k buys. Brook - Smith would probably do about 50k. Eddie is not even helping to negotiate the Crawford fight and Sky haven’t even offered Arum a bag of chips for the UK rights- this should say it all about where Brook is with them both.

They won't want to show Kell against Crawford, then Eddie can spin how well Kell did, banking on the casuals not seeing the fight. With the proverbial "stacked card" I could believe that Hearn would seriously consider it.

Thurman confirmed him and Brook wanted to fight next but Hearn blocked it in favour of the **** shows that followed.. THE biggest waste of a UK boxer in a generation
Brook should fight Khan and then both of them call it a day. It’s a closer fight and far more saleable to the British public than this one on paper. Sky not being interested in the rights doesn’t shock me and I don’t see BT really caring that much either. Putting this on PPV is a total non starter.
