Like the Jim Jones gang you are all going on a joyride doomed for destruction. The train will derail on 07/26/08.

Honestly I don't really care about the thread. Just noting a very funny comparison between you and an old nemesis.

Margarito has a good chance to get the upset. Nobody is giving his a chance, but he can win. However, the ref and judges will be against Margarito.

The only similarities that Cotto and Lujan have is maybe height and skin color. Aside from that they have NOTHING, nada, nyet, $%^%*#^ else in common.

In responce to the original post, the only similarities between the two fighters are the bald head and height.

Lujan is not nearly as explosive as cotto. His jab is pawing, his hooks looping and telegraphed while thrown from the shoulder without the whole body behind it.

Whoever said his footwork is faster needs to lay off the crack pipe. His footwork is almost non existant in my mind. Does not move as good as cotto in the ring.

    More athletic? . I think not.:D

His defense is nothing to brag about. Cotto catches more shots on the gloves than lujan in my oppinion but this area of their game is fairly close.

He doesn't have better head and upper body movement, he just does a **** load more of it. That does not equate to beeing better at it. Quality over quantity as the age old saying goes. Lujan bends at the waist, not at the legs, and moves side to side and round and round like a willow in the ****ing wind. The he comes back up with hands down and gets tagged.

Cotto is supperior in all of the above mentioned aspects in my book, hands down. :good

Exactly. I had to bring this up, it was just too far wrong to ignore. This one is up there with Pacdabest telling the forum that Donaire was going to win based on his ability to dance all night whilst out clubbing effortlessly:lol:

How about an analytical response. Instead of just quoting and saying how stupid everyone is. You should go back to fighting the "Kendal Holt headbutt was intentional" topic unless you have something substantial to add to the topic my dimb witted friend. :hi:

All i have done is quote what you said in the other thread.

People have been given their own opportunity to respond based on your comments, and to make their own analysis.

Maybe you should stop and think that if the majority disagree with you, and can post their reasons why in detail, that perhaps your post was wrong??

Common sense should tell you that if Lujan was more explosive, he would have more KO's (his KO ratio is much worse than Cotto's, despite facing easier opposition by far). That if his chin was better, he would not have been KTFO out by a B level fighter in two rounds. That if he had better movement and defense, and was as athletic as you seem to believe, he wouldn't have dropped wide decisions or been beaten badly when he stepped up.
