Very disappointing that. Ohara was only throwing single shots and he was head hunting with it. Didn’t take enough risks. Personally I edge it to Davies but if this is a loss then he can only blame himself.

I thought Davies lander the better shots in most rounds and deserved the win, but he’s a lazy fighter. McKenna is awful to watch and ineffective, I’m puzzled about how he’s given rounds sometimes.

That post fight interview by Davies is the reason he is on the road to nowhere.

 

Was looking forward to this fight but it didn't deliver at all. Bit of a snoozer.

 

Glad Davies won, McKenna for one didn’t deserve to be in the final. Although Mimoune would have dealt with Davies imo (on points). Secondly, McKenna was very negative in his performance. He came to run. If you’re gonna box like that you need to back it up with some eye catching pot shots or a few busy flurries...he did neither. Davies needs to vary his attack as well, too flat footed, throws the single head hunting shots, it’s too pedestrian from him.

Golden contract has been a bit of a farce really. Set up the final before it had even started with dodgy cards along the way.

MTK lose even more credit.

 

I had it 6-4 McKenna. But I’m glad he lost.
