The most hate I've seen on the Classic Forum. The double standards are incredible. Maybe, and I know this to be true, these haters really believe Mike Tyson is better than they're leading us to believe. Finding any excuse to poke and dissect his every move. Kinda like the hate Donald Trump is getting: the dude can cough and not say excuse me and his detractors wanna kill the guy!

Yeah Tyson fans never used excuses....but then claimed excuses for Past prime Ali who had parkinson and 50 years old Foreman.

 

Those are FACTS, not excuses.

 

The Trump hate is similarly disturbing, I agree.

It does make me wonder, in the case of Mike, if they're afraid of admiring even a single quality of the man as a fighter (which is pretty dumb). Or perhaps they can't see past the **** conviction....which I can partly sympathize with. The thing is, that conviction has NOTHING to do with his prodigious fighting abilities. To dismiss a fighter's obvious strengths because of what goes on outside the ring is ridiculous imo.

 

These are excuses except maybe prison but none of these are facts but excuses so shut up!

• Foreman punched himself out
• Liston did not train properly for Ali, was older than stated and had a shoulder injury
• Liston took a dive in the second fight
• Robinson was tired from his exhibitions and not 100 percent ready for his first fight against Turpin.
• Vitali was ahead on the cards and only lost due to injuries
• Louis was old vs Marciano

 

Those are not fact and those were lies about 70 percent of them are not true.
And Tyson and his stupid fans are only who appear to make excuses but those are not facts just excuses because he lost and would lost always to those guys.

Nope Lewis was very well prepared just was tired from traveling to Africa and Lewis said himself that he was very well prepared.
Prime example of where arrogance gets you. Smiling and faffing about one second, and then eating dirt the next and he learned that is not smart to underestimate your opponent.

He was not that much he just got bigger and lacked training that is not past prime because his best wins are from that time.

Holyfield was more shot than Tyson was against Lewis.Holyfield was 37 years old while Tyson was 35/36 years old and Holyfield was more past because his heart problems,lacked training,age and law problems.

Nope he was also tired from trip because time zone changing and he was dehydrated.

Liston did train properly for Ali but Ali beat him both times and was not older as I proved and did not have shoulder injury.

Shoulder injury came in fight not before fight because doctors checked Sonny and he was alright plus Sonny cheated with gloves.
Liston did not took a dive but it was beautiful right hand and Martin did the same thing.
