Mayweather could teach Wilder a lot if Wilder was willing to listen, but Wilder hated being corrected even as a prospect, so unfortunately I doubt besides giving him lip service if Wilder would actually listen to Mayweather in earnest. When Wilder was at the fight factory back in 2012 several of the trainers went out their way to help Wilder, but Wilder pretty much refused to even try to correct a lot of the mistakes that they were pointing out.
First punch lands on his face and he will instinctively go back to what he knows. Wilder is what he is. There is no changing him this late in the game.
The fabric of the universe folds in on itself due to the level of raw arrogance, stubbornness of stupidity in one room.
At this point my opinion of Wilders boxing ability is so low, if he makes adjustments / improvements in the next fight I’ll be impressed
Yes it will make a big difference, the difference will be Wilder gets KO'd even earlier trying to deploy new tricks he just learned.
Mayweathers could teach a lot. Wilder already had a lot of good trainers but looks that he always is the same. Of course he is athletic, looks younger than he is on paper, pretty fresh. If I did not knew, I might gave him some 27-29 y. not more.
Wilder doesn't like Floyd because he feels Floyd didn't want him to succeed. lmao. It would be like Wilder Vs Charlie Z again...but instead of Charlie Z winning it would be Floyd by a dominant victory.
Floyd would only confuse Wilder and make him more vulnerable. If he would actually listen to Mark Breland he would be a different fighter. He’s was just so reliant on that right hand that he forgot that the day will come when someone you hit won’t go to sleep. It’s too late in the game for him to learn new things he’ll always resort to what he does and has been doing. Bringing in Floyd would be a huge mistake.
