Mayweather Sr was right "Chad is a little slow upstairs", and David Haye was right about Diaconu "He is the future of the division"
Just a note....not sure if anyone knows or cares but Diaconu fought Henry with strep and still beat him handily...and Johnson thoroughly owned Dawson, just a quick newsflash people punches that are blocked typically dont COUNT and roughly 80% of the punches thrown by Dawson were just that...blocked, which means Dawson won a robbery espescially considering most if not all the meaningful punches in the fight were landed by Johnson.....I take it you dawson defenders missed the 10th round as well when Dawson was out on his feet......

Get over it people Dawson is a farce, fake, and a chinachinned furcoat wearing ****** of a thief....
    It's a time for acceptance:yep

Following the purse bid win, Dawson had until midnight last night to return the signed contract and he did not. Now, this is between WBC's hands. Interbox already adressed the issue to the WBC. Now, let's see what kind of tricky move will do the WBC to not respect their own rules. Normally, Dawson should be stripped off his belt right away.

The only sure thing is that Diaconu will fight on Oct. 4 in Bucharest. Will it be as a regular or interim champ? That's the 1M buck question.
We'll know the answer in few hours.

Diaconu is ****. Future of the division? Whatever, the guy is B-level at best.

I wanted Chad to take this fight, because him fighting Tarver first and dropping his belt accomplishes **** as far as unification goes. I also don't like when young champions don't fight their mandatories- you've got to establish yourself against your peers first before you start dropping belts like that. I've seen Joe Calzaghe take alot of **** for not fighting a young puncher 2 divisions lower than where he's fighting now and choosing an old opponent, but it's cool for Dawson, who's actually prime right now, to not fight a young puncher who happens to be his mandatory so he can fight another old man in Tarver? If that's not a double standard, I don't know what is.

Get this ****ing fight over with. Then let the winner have a unification fight vs Tarver.

Dealing with your mandatories before a choosing to drop belts make sense, but only for good reason. I don't think Tarver is an easier fight than Diaconu. Diaconu is a puncher but Tarver is a wiley veteran that has a sophisticated understanding of the sweet science. Tarver just beat #5 ranked Clinton Woods and recently beat Elvir Muriqi. Diaconu beat a #9 ranked Chris Henry in a relatively unexciting fight. Admittedly, I condede a Diaconu v. Dawson fight may be more entertaining than a Tarver v. Dawson fight. Of course, seeing Dawson fight Diaconu in Romania would have been ill. I think either fight will be fun to watch.
