Due to covid its not happening in the US any time soon. But why does it HAVE to be Vegas

You can make money all over the world, even now yet they seem hellbound on postponing it till it can happen in Vegas.

For example Fury vs Wilder, they could have easily fought in Ausralia or Qatar and made similair money.
Same with other fights. The money is there, just make it happen than postponing it till 2022.

There are not many viable countries that could stage it, that hasn’t being hit by Covid 19 in some form.

    Timezones matter.
While Qatar and Australia might offer hefty site fees, would it rival the potential PPV sales the US market would provide?
The second Wilder-Fury fight generated roughly 65 million in North-America PPV sales. Hard to top that.

uhh... the Rumble in the Jungle had a crowd of 60,000 even though it took place at 4:30am local time - precisely so it would be a primetime event in the US.

You can get a great crowd anywhere at any local time, and still maximize ppv numbers for the american crowd.

About 850k from what I have read.
    That was in the 70s.

But yes, there are ways around timezones, but would a site fee be enough? And I guess that isn´t even the biggest issue.
The issue is that who exactly is selling out arenas or large venues for any even at the moment?

The cash cows will only fight in Vegas & the answer to why that is when you look at the amount of ludicrous scorecards turned in by Vegas judges it appears obvious. There is robbery after blatant robbery. We all see it happening but most STILL buy into the corruption I refused to buy PPV's years ago
