Malik Scott will have an expanded roll in Wilder's camp!

Wilder and Scott have been close for a long time even well before their fight. I have no doubt that Scott could be a good trainer as he is very skilled and has a lot of boxing knowledge but he lost a lot of credibility after their fight with what seemed like an obvious dive to make his mate look good.

The reason Malik Scott might be better than Breland is that Scott has not just studied Fury as an observer, he's literally sparred with Fury and had his eardrum broken by a wayward pillow. Scott might be essential to cracking the Gypo-King code, since Breland ultimately failed to do so and failure is not an option in Team Wilder. Naysayers might suggest Wilder is just an idiot, but I doubt an idiot would be so naturally philosophical in unscripted interviews.

There are times I really want to like Wilder due to his exciting style but whenever I am at that point, he opens his mouth or makes a decision and I retreat back into my frustration.

 

Wilder´s plan is to perfect that Phantom Punch, but it only seems to work on Scott..

 

Gonna teach him how to take a dive to avoid a beating in the next fight.

 

Looks like Wilder will be scuba diving very soon.

He literally holds his hand and whispers sweet nothings in his ear to stop him from bursting out crying before facing Fury. I'm not joking, it's all on video.

Needs to face the harsh truth and stop cotton balling himself.

You see at the weigh-in Wilder has Malik and another guys literally having to motivate him before he goes out...it's crazy. I've never seen such a thing before in boxing.

 

Fury has gone from being a heavy favourite in the 3rd fight to a 'expect Wilder to get mauled far worse than in the 2nd fight' dead cert. As already mentioned, Scuba Scott is a yes man, a brown noser and Chief Executive of Massaging Wilders outrageous and deluded ego.....

 

Malik Scott used to post on this site back in the day. I remember him posting about being a sparring partner for Audley Harrison

 

Scott will add to Wilder's repertoire. Not his boxing repertoire but his dancing one.

Wilder can already twerk. But Scott will teach him the hoki coki. Especially the "we all fall down" part.
