Ahhhh...no. He'd surely fall short somewhere along the way....I don't think he would look even as good as Pernell Roberts.

 

I agree. He had a good resume but probably could have won a few more of his fights

Berbick was a better brawler. Bonaveana hit harder .I think Trevor starts trading and gets KO ed. Good fight

 

Sure. A unanimous decision can be close, but evidently it was still obvious enough who won cuz they all voted for the same guy.

 

You have some good points, particularly the last, which I have never thought of before.

 

That's good. Personally, I still prefer specifying the nature of the decision or knockout, cuz I do like to try to treat it like a real fight, but make my rulings with the pretension that we have three perfect, fair judges. However, what you say makes perfect sense.

 

Aye lad,...so do I...it adds depth to your analysis and prognostication.

 

It's like with Holmes and Norton. I can't imagine Holmes ever beating Kenny by a UD.

 

Didn’t realize I already replied to this thread when I searched the topic. I initially said it was a tossup but I might lean towards Berbick by the narrowest of decisions. This is the type of fight I would have liked to see. Two brawlers going at it. Would be tough
