Les Darcy, how good could he have been had he lived longer. Harry Greb, & Maxie Rosenbloom, almost 1000 fights between them and no footage. Stanley Ketchel, the only film available of him he doesn’t look great, Jim Jeffries, footage to see if he was really the greatest heavyweight of his age, Peter Jackson, footage to see if he had the skills to beat a prime Sullivan, plus footage of John L Sullivan himself and last but not least Nonpariel Jack Dempsey, said to be unbeatable at his best, I’d love to see him fight

He was reputed to be violent, or so I’ve heard.

Dispite he reputation as the dirtiest fouler who ever boxed, he was said to have fought a pretty clean fight when he beat Walcott

Cotto. Is he gay or straight? How come no publishing of personal events in his life. How old is his brother? Where is his other brother? Why did he look just average walking into the ring with Floyd? I heard he's a heavy drinker? What's his poison? Budweiser, vex, smirnoffs? Why was his weigh in pic vs abdulaev, taken down, in the wall of shame?

    The mystery deepens.

I believe it was Doc Kearns who was quoted (by the great AJ Liebling) as saying: He was always doing something mysterious. Like he’d step on your foot and when you looked down he’d bite your ear.
