Other than Duran, who could beat Floyd under welterweight?

We have 3 dvisions here, 130, 135 and 140lb. Who else other than Hands of Stone has a chance of beating him?

I don't see any win on Duran's profile comparable to FMJ

Everyone 140 and down is a significant underdog

I'd favour Pernell Whittaker and Henry Armstrong

Maybe not at lightweight but the fact that Duran beat SRL at welterweight shows he has the skill to beat anyone. Duran was even better at 135 than at 147.

Off the top of my head I’d favor Chavez and Whitaker. I’d give Pryor a chance but favor Mayweather. I also give Kostya Tszyu a chance but also favor Mayweather.

Exactly what wins do you see on Money's profile comparable to Duran, consensus top 3 lightweight ATG at minimum and found in most Top 10 ATG lists?

SRL played into Duran's trash talking and brawled with Duran. When Leonard decided to box and move Duran quit. When Duran fought Benitez, the nearest style to Mayweather, he got shut out.

There's no one at Duran's level who's stylistically comparable. Pacquaio is at Duran's level though. Cotto and Castillo stylistically similar.

Ultimately Mayweather outboxed everyone. Duran didn't. Mayweather has the advantage in skill, defense and speed. What are Duran's advantages in the H2H? He was a great pressure fighter, but I don't see him cracking this puzzle.

So a slower, shorter, less skilled outboxer with shorter arms. Good luck with that
