So BT have made a choice that UFC is more important to them than the boxing. Nothing wrong with that, it is a choice BT makes. Why should Sky pick up BT's leftovers then?
Boxing fans don't give a monkeys who's promoting a fight, they just want to watch it. Sky treat their boxing fan subscribers like dog dirt
Tbf to TR they are bringing some great fights at this time and this is one I'm massively looking forward to. I don't know why sky can't pick this up and do some kind of deal where they charge whoever want a to watch it and split the income with ESPN. can't really lose that way. Bob does have a point when he says ESPN are supporting boxing in these trying times whereas sky is just after money grabs. I understand what adam smith days about Its a business but it's also a buisness for ESPN and they're forking out for the show. If you claim to be the home of boxing in the UK but don't show a fight of this magnitude, then you have to be called out, which us what Bob was doing. Fair play Arum. Thank goodness for Fite tv Lopez certainly has a puncher chance here, he's got a big size and power difference but I can't see anything past a Loma victory. Too smart is vasilly and Lopez not seasoned enough yet.
Arum going in on Eddie again over rematch clauses now stating Loma Vs Lopez has no rematch clause, he must be really bitter Eddie has put a rematch clause in the Joshua vs Pulev deal even though its a Mandatory.
Just a thought mate with Bob going in on Eddie over rematch clauses and going public about no rematch for Lomo vs Lopez. Also the deal for Joshua Vs Pulev due to be announced anytime.
That's only if it goes to purse bids. When the 2 parties reach an agreement themselves, they make their own terms. If there's a rematch clause for Joshua vs Pulev then it's because Pulev's team agreed to it.
So why is anyone complaining about it then? It's on FITE TV. Pay your 10 pounds and watch the fight. Why is it Sky's business?
It’s worth the £9.99, alone, just to avoid the Sky flotilla, going on another jolly to Vegas, to drone on and on with their brain numbing cliches. Let’s hope they cover the much anticipated Davis - Leo Cruz show as well.
