I can’t believe Bernard Hopkins hasn’t been mentioned The worst style of fighting I’ve seen, it was anti-fighting, messy and borderline cheap yet he struts around like an emperor. Outside the ring he was a complete toilet, racial comments and personal slurs that weren’t an act, he is genuinely a disgusting human.
Watch him when he was younger. Early middleweight days. Completely different and quite fun to watch with the amount of punches he throws.

If you're talking about fighters who deliberately played the villain to get people to tune in, thats a much smaller list. Amir Khan is desperate for praise and approval, he just happens to come across as seriously annoying. But Mayweather and Mayorga are examples off the top of my head of fighters who deliberately seek notoriety
Totally ..in all honesty those flash in the pans are exciting too me though ..for every ray robinson ..theres a cat like lew jenkins who may not have been the most artistic fighter but it didnt matter cause they had a sledge hammer for a left and that was enough too get them the strap
