The question of how good Loma is will come down to his chin. If has an iron chin like Mayweather he will go very far and can even compete effectively at 140, if he does not, then 135 is his limit and he may need to go down to 130. Loma was never knocked down in any amatuer fight and was only down once against Linares. I also saw him buzzed against Campbell who does not even hit very hard. Either way I dont think Loma was very hurt in those fights. I think he was buzzed. With Lopez' power though one punch is all it takes and Loma is a much smaller guy. Can he take Lopez' punch?

Loma was down once in the amateurs Campbell does hit very hard Teofimo dropped Commey who had never been stopped before like a sack potatoes with a single shot and Commey is a massive 135 pounder who weighs about 14-16lbs more than Loma on fight night. That's three weight classes more Loma has the frame of a 126 pounder and he still weighs about the same on fight night as he did for all his fights at 130 and half the ones at 126. When Loma was 16 he was campaigning down at 106 so lightweight would be his 9th division Rougarou fought at 152 in the amateurs and is a big 140 pounder (see pic in the link below) https://ibb.co/k9dxNfp I can't stand Teofimo but I don't downplay his abilities. He's the hardest puncher in the division, very thick-set and powerful and naturally much bigger than Loma, and one of the most explosive punchers in the sport.

Thanks. Yes Teofimo's two-fisted power, hand speed, counter punching skills, and sheer size makes this a very dangerous for Loma. If they were both natural 135 pounders it would be a different story but neither of them are albeit different directions.
