I have no idea if this is real, but it seems to fit in with what is going on. According to the source, he is saying that his arm is still hurt and he has not even begun training.

Wilder has been swallowed by the black hole that Fury left him in. His career might be over. Has the fire been put out?

Excellent, but he should have done it months ago.

    Very spiteful.

I think that maybe his power went to his head and he thought that he was unbeatable. The beating Fury gave him has maybe destroyed him psychologically and he may never recover.

This is bad news. Wilder's power was fully real. Probably the hardest right hander in history (maybe Tyson, maybe Vitali). He just needs to land it better. I liked watching him body bag guys. Hope its not rue.

I also hope that it is not true because I would back a fully fit confident Deontay Wilder over any heavyweight not named Tyson Fury.

Don't want Wilder to retire - would like to see him fight a decent fighter other than Fury in his whole career in one of Hunter, Whyte, Povetkin, Parker, Ruiz or Bakole.

This guy is not getting back into a damn ring with Tyson Fury again, and can you blame him?

Ah. This is costumary. Suits him. Hope the loss to Tyson isn't weighing heavily on him.

He's had injury issues before wouldn't surprise me with his poor technique if he really has injured himself badly again. At 34 he's about at that age where he's going to decline and injuries become more likely as recovery is inhibited.

Would be a shame if his last ever fight was the fight vs Fury, that's no how any champion ever would want to end a career but unless he's fighting Fury or AJ he isn't going to be making a big payday so his options are limited. End his career by taking an easy fight and scoring an easy KO over someone like Martin and end his career on a win but get paid a couple of million at most or risk it all again and most likely lose for one last payday.

If it really is over, well damn Fury really did a number on him, not just physically but mentally.
