Tyson Fury vs Agit Kabayel possible for December 5th

Not a very appealing fight even if Kabayel is a solid operator.

 

I'd be surprised if it wasn't tbh. He's ranked and with the same Promoter.

And unlike most fans, I wouldn't mind it. No A-lister, except maybe Hunter, is available, and Kabayel is a very good B-level guy, with a signature win over Chisora, as well as Rudenko, and a couple of other notable names.

 

An actual contender, unlike the other tuneups Fury has had during his comeback.

 

A fight with Kabayel will look like Fury - Hammer or Fury - Chisora 2.

 

Anybody pretending Kabayel is a decent challenge here is offiically the board's new Commissar of Agitprop.

Fury should stay busy I think wilder has been spiteful and tried to hold up Fury’s career as long as possible

as for opponents I hope he fights someone good and not some soft touch

 

I’m ok with Kabayel. He’s an alright fighter. Don’t think he’s going to have much joy here at all but in terms of low risk fight it’s probably as good as we could have hoped for

 

He has a fairly clear win over Chisora, much clearer than the scorecards had it.
People made excuses for Chisora, said he wasn't right mentally or some crap, but that was just so they could re-market Chisora as something he's not. It was a dull fight but that's because Kabayel shut him down so often.
Kabayel beat him with skill and footwork.

Of course, beating a fat plodding Chisora in 2017 isn't quite the same as beating a fat plodding Chisora in 2020, which (according to the logic of this board's deranged fanboys) underlines "pound-for-pound greatness".
