He's already ahead of him when you apply the commonly accepted double standards used to evaluate them. If you objectively look at their professional careers and put your personal preferences aside he's not even in the same stratosphere as Floyd
Floyds resume is not that good when you break it down, lots of names but at certain times in their careers. Floyd has a bout 4 solid top tier wins, loma is closing in on that.
That's like saying Mayweather reached Sugar Ray Robinson's status. Their professional accomplishments are miles apart.
Loma isnt finished fighting yet. I will wait until he does to evaluate him. But at this point in time his resume is not quite there.
Big Lomachenko fan and I think he's an ATG talent at 126 and 130, but he's very far. And given the state of the current scene, his age, potential pandemic-related inactivity, and the fact that he is basically maxed out at 135 means he'll almost assuredly never reach the heights Mayweather has historically.
