DLH vs Crawford @ 140

Good match up, I'd give Crawford the edge.

 

I agree that was a close fight and that oscar never got that big signature win, but how did oscar have poor ring generalship? he was the definition of a consummate professional in the ring. he started his career at 135 and competed with hopkins at middle until the size difference became too much. I didn't see him as inactive against quartey, he boxed cautiously at times but also brawled as well, i could argue for either man in that fight, it was close. Again, he did run from Trinidad but was thoroughly beating the **** out of him prior to those last 4 rounds, it was dumb of him to take those final four rounds off and i do truly believe he was tiring and trinidad had hurt him at some pont, but i didn't see poor ring generalship in that fight just bad decisions. He did lose to mosley but there's no way he didn't win the rematch. De La Hoya had great ring generalship.

 

DLH didn't always have the best strategy which costed him in big fights. Crawford being a slow starter could easily benefit an ATG like Oscar.
