    @Devon .....

    Canelo would get mauled to death! Marv was one of the best pressure fighters ever at 175.

    Canelo will rip this mother****er up with counters as he did against Angulo en route to a TKO victory. However, it will be Canelo's dumbass irrational haters like Xplosive who will end up in the hospital first, not Johnson, because they are so fragile that they will be absolutely both mentally and physically shattered that Canelo won a fantasy fight.

    By the way, Duran quit despite the fact that he wasn't even at the risk of getting stopped by that point.

    Canelo isn't a light heavyweight, and just because he beat a shot Kovalev, doesn't make him a light-heavyweight.

    Canelo isn't beating any good light-heavyweight in his prime. A younger Kovalev would have beaten him. Ditto with Johnson. Johnson probably ko's him in 8.

    The highest weight where Canelo would have a chance against good/great fighters in their prime is 168lbs.

    Johnson. I very much doubt Canelo can withstand the kind of pressure Johnson brings.

    It would be a fairly comprehensive beating.

    Canelo makes Marvin weigh in at a catchweight of 165.

    If it were today, it wouldn't surprise me if Marv could make that with ease. He would have benefitted massively from a SMW division in his era, and could have definitely drained an extra three pounds over night.

    Not in a million years would Canelo go near Johnson.
    It would never get made.
