Went down the River Nile but a wasted journey and there is no radio commentary either. Cannot believe this fight is not on Sly Box Office.
Brave move moving from Hungary to Africa. There's a world of difference between Hungarian ***** house bouncers and teek tough africans
Don't celebrate Price losing, This was just a strategic move.. Patel lost deliberately, now the rest of the worlds Super Flys will want to fight him, they will want that scalp, they were all terrified before, the Price was having to go to Africa for fights because nobody wanted that work. Now these Super Flys will think Prince has gone backwards, is having a dip in form, that he is finished and will be more likely to try and take Prince down and sign on the dotted line. Then BOOOOOOM, The Prince lights them up and once again sits on top of the world.
No shame losing in the rumble in the jungle global unification fight. Surely the judges were either totally biased watching a different fight or he tripped over a stray banana skin and banged his head off the canvas. The greatest will be back stronger, louder and reclaim world domination starting off with winning the next Falkland Islands Prize Fighter tournament before taking all those Cuban titles then on to dominate in the US.
Seriously, I respect what this kid has done. A lot of boxers out there who can't get fights in the UK or get dumped by their promoters, just complain and give up, never venture far from their home town and gym. This kid has gone out and travelled to Hungary, Czech Rep., Egypt, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Latvia, Tanzania .....
Fair enough that he's travelled and seen new countries. However I bet he hasn't made any money from it. He's probably losing money just to pad up his record lol.
I believe he has a sponsor who pays for his travel for fights and some other stuff, so actually the money he makes he probably gets to keep most of it. Probably didn't earn a bad amount when boxing on Khan's undercard either. We all know the plan was to get in the rankings and cash out in a fight against a decent operator, where he'd of got a career high purse. I saw he issued an apology to Kugan and Barry Jones in a video, not sure if its because he lost first time around and burnt his bridges. Maybe realised he might need to sign to a promoter and be thrown to the wolves in the near future.
Fighting in front of bigger crowds than the likes of Joshua, Whyte, Fury etc at the moment, get your popcorn ready, here's Prince v Innocent Evarist 2, what a trilogy this is going to be This content is protected
I'm one of his biggest fans, I can't wait for him to bring his brand of violence back to these shores, he's been sorely missed.
I've just skipped to the last few rounds but just saw the Prince stuck in reverse gear. What were the scorecards? Looks quite a good atmosphere fighting outside!
Reading some more into it, it seemed the scorecards were 'revised' at a later date to make it a draw. Wondered why it looked like Patel was talking to people over the ropes at the end. Has he bunged the officials to make it a draw!?
