Tito UD's him. Would Floyd dance like Oscar did? Doubtful. Floyd at WW doesn't move like that. Tito had a very good jab and put together very good combos. Not to mention, he was definitely one of the best finishers in boxing. When he had you hurt, he pounced!
This is a tough one. Right now I'll agree with my pal @Dance84, even though we don't eye eye to eye in everything I think he's spot on with the 50/50. Both fighters have advantages over each other. One of Mayweather's best assets is his stamina, he can look as fresh as round one in round 12, most fighters slow considerably by round 12, but Trinidad was one of those fighters who like Floyd fought with the same energy until the end, so that advantage would be nullified for each fighter. Tito Trinidad is almost 6ft tall, and had a considerable size advantage. Tito fought extremely well midrange, that may pose problems for Floyd. especially with Floyd's lack fo experience fighting tall fighers. Mayweather's usual reach advantage would also be nullified in this fight since both fighters had a similar reach.. Trinidad was a dirty fighter, and would be throwing elbows, and low blows if necessary, we seen that Mayweather can be distracted and thrown off his games with tactics like that. Tito was a bit clumsy on his feet, and the way to beat him was by moving around and using angles. ODLH, Hopkins, and RJJ used that blue print. The only fighter to stand in front of him and beat him was Winky. Winky was a very physically strong fighter with a tight defense, not many fighters could fight Tito the way Wright did.... Mayweather's best chance to beat Tito would be to pot shot his way to victory. Against certain aggressive fighters Mayweather had a lot of success using his pot shot style. If Floyd can execute that game plan for 12 rounds without getting caught he would likely win a decision. Its a tough fight and would have been a mega fight. Unfortunately they never fought in the same division.
They said said Mosley would beat him, they said Pacquiao would beat him, they said De La Hoya would beat him, they said Maidana would beat him, they said Judah would beat him none of them did, now my question is where does it stop? People hate Mayweather and always pick him to lose in matchups because they would love nothing more than to see him lose Funny how Mayweather always loses fantasy matchups, yet wins all of his fights
Mayweather by about 8-4. Tito's size and pressure should win a few rounds. The reason Hopkins' performance against Tito was so impressive, was because Tito was so good. The dude kept coming all night.
