I forgot that champions can avoid all the best, and still be considered the best.

Chisora is ranked 9th on boxrec.
And they have Kabayel ranked 36th.
    Which is madness.
Are you defending boxrec's rankings ?

AND, importantly, if you cite boxrec's rankings (as you have) and imply the veracity of the rankings, you'll see that TYSON FURY is ranked number 1 !
Which is precisely the opposite of what you think is reasonable.

    Wilder is ranked number 2.

I'm not sure why Kabayel is being deemed a worse bum than the rest.
Seems like a prejudice against German (or even Turkish/German or whatever he is).
If he was British heavyweight at 20-0 with 4 European title fight wins and an easy win over Chisora, people would regard him as quite good at least, world class even,
FFS, people who talk about Joshua's great resume, when he has world title wins over Breazeale and Molina.

I'm not even saying Fury-Kabayel isn't a poor fight but to say Kabayel is a bum with no credentials at all seems unfair.
I can't for the life of me see how Charles Martin would be better ! (which is what some seem to imply).

In an alternative universe Fury would probably have a record of 30-2-1, ie he drops a decision to McDermott early in his career, is stopped on cuts to Wallin (Wallin 100% would of been) and his fight with Hammer is registered as a NC due to the failed tests. However, he rightly gets the verdict in the first fight with Wilder and would have a few more legitimate defences on his CV.

This said, my opinion of Fury would be exactly the same as it is now, he deserves to be considered number 1 in the world. However, this perception of him being unbeatable after the Wilder rematch is now very much exaggerated. A fight with AJ, in my opinion is a very competitive and dangerous fight and stark contrast to the Wilder slaughter. In my opinion Fury wins but he’ll need to tough it out at times.

Not fighting Wilder is as good as a win?

Conversation over. Your logic is nonsensical.

When did Fury turn down Joshua? If you’re referring to immediately after he came back - it wasn’t as simple as that. Hearn offered him a route to fight Joshua - a nobody, Bellew, Whyte then Joshua. All the terms were weighted against him with every possible advantage given to Matchroom.

In hindsight he absolutely made the right decision not to go with it.

Matchroom made a offer after that, offered a 40% split after Wilder vs Fury 1. Warren confirmed and called it not enough money, despite accepting a 40% split against Wilder in a much smaller earning fight.

I don't remember that but you're probably right. I think there's the ego element at play, Fury wouldn't want to be the 'B-side' against Joshua. Was the 40% split for Wilder vs Fury 1? I'm pretty sure it wasn't a 40% split for Wilder vs Fury 2.

Credit to Dogboe, he took an absolute pummelling off a significantly bigger Navarrete who’s gotta be somewhere in that top 10-15 p4p region now. Dogboe never gave in (unfortunately his corner were also very brave on his behalf). No chance that Conlan stops him.

The preperation was shocking. When you fight a guy as tall and rangy then you need that sparring in camp. He only spars his uncle and cousin or something like that. He is going to be a tough nights work for Conlan. Wouldn't even call it an upset if Dogboe wins.
