When all is said and done and these 2 fighters face each other in summer 2021, what game plan do you think Sugar Hill Steward and Robert McCracken will set out for their 2 fighters? Ultimately I don't think it will matter too much because I believe Fury will adapt better in the ring but what do you think the strategy of each fighter will be?
Fury is on anther league of his own Joshua is a very good top level fighter but fury is special. Fury can win by outboxing joshua and can also walk him down and force the stoppage he can also adjust during the fight i think he will opt for bit of both but i lean towards the latter fury is hitting very hard this days and sitting on his punchers he never use to because his uncle use to get him to box all the time and flick his shots hence why some tend to say he doesn't hit hard which is laughable he has very good heavyweight punch but doesn't need to really need to sit down that much because he can outbox these guys easily but fury is also a guy who gets bored and i think from this point of his career you will see less of the outboxing. Joshua only little chance he has is if fury comes into the fight unmotivated out of shape and Joshua lands a freak shot (and even then i expect him to get up and win a UD) other then that i give him 0 chance i know what im talking about i never been wrong especially when it came to Tyson fury I picked him to take wlad to deep waters and become champ and also picked him to beat Wilder. The fight will go like this Fury will feel Joshua early set the tone with his jab and walk to him while being wary as soon as he has his timing and feel for Joshua he will man handle him lean on him and break of the lean land his jab move out box and repeat Joshua all the time will be mentally occupied not knowing what to do while at the same time Fury is landing effectively and tiring Joshua out by the mid rounds Joshua will be huffing and puffing and this is when Fury will look for the stoppage Joshua will be a sitting duck at this point but fury needs to be swtitched on early doors Joshua will be dangerous he is big and can punch. Fury by late stoppage.
McCracken straight up knows this fight relies on AJ being able to land a clean right hand then finishing Fury off, which is easier said than done. See how Wlad couldn't find his right hand or leaping left hook, AJ will have the same problem. After Fury has boxed his head off for 6/7/8 rounds, what do you do? go out on your shield swinging and get stopped when you blow out? or go a paced 12 rounds like Wlad and lose badly on point?
Joshua is going to be aggressive behind a stiff jab, as he usually is. Fury is hard to call, though. I hope he will go out guns blazing as he did against Wilder last time, but it will be more dangerous against a more compact and fundamentally skilled AJ, so maybe he'll box in a more cautious manner. Hard to tell. Might depend on how AJ looks against Pulev.
AJ will stop Pulev mid fight after he nails him. AJ's opponents all stood/stand in front of him. ALL OF THEM. Nobody has the footwork of Fury.
Fury is too big and too skilled for anyone else in the division right now Fury wins by late stoppage. Although it will be interesting to see how he handles Joshua‘s swarming offensive attacks
This is a lovely succinct post packaged in delightful funsized clarity, I believe Joshua would choose to go out on his shield swinging
I feel Fury will box aggresively behind a jab also, cautious at times but also very aggressive at the right time
To be fair to Joshua, he has showed versatility himself in his performances v Parker and Ruiz 2, it will be interesting to see how he handles himself on the outside with Fury. I do think Joshua is going to be very aggressive when he has the opportunity, I believe he thinks he can knock Fury out from their sparring sessions
