This is actually hilarious to go back and read now. To answer the question? I have high hopes for Lopez. He and Haney are gonna tear the house down
People get too carried away with cults of personality sometimes, gotta see things for what they are. Loma is too small for that weight, Lopez is only 23 and bigger, faster, stronger than Loma. Haney still wins the lightweight for me, too smart.
I think it will be a tactical fight, and will be at 135 for all the marbles. Too many belts on the line here!
They certainly are not, they are big dudes, and bigger than Loma. Davis can go fight at WW, Especially now that a 23 year old has all four belts they will all want to fight at lightweight.
Big in the casual world, means "swole" or "jacked". That might be the case, but being swole/jacked is very impressive in the casual world, but it gets you outboxed in the boxing ring, the Teo vs Loma fight is an excellent example of how every inch matters. Carlos Zarate top 10 hardest punchers P4P, he was 5'10", if he existed in this era he will probably be fighting at 147 and barely a contender
Its a tight group, but no big Lightweight name. Haney and Garcia look the part, but really untested. Linares worn out, but he always has one more fight left in him. Teo leading with small gaps between them, until someone does something spectacular Teo Haney Garcia Linares
I really think Davis disposes of Garcia and Linares, he is a strong dude. But gets outboxed by Haney and possibly stopped by Lopez. From there is between Lopez and Haney, and I am still leaning towards Haney and his boxing skills.
Haney is overrated. I'll observe how he wins against a shot Gamboa to see if he can change my mind, at least a little bit.
Surely you are being sarcastic there lol. It's only top heavy. Cruiserweight a couple of years ago was far better, for example.
Not sarcastic at all. Historically, lightweight is no less than the second most stacked division ever.
