I mean, even Teofemale said it was a factor. Loma looked flat, but Teofemale did **** that body for 5-6 rounds.

Lopez outclassed him and didnt let Loma fight his style. No rust, it was skill.

I don't know. How many people were trying to support Nick Walters' claim that ring rust affected his performance, being over a year out? Are they holding Loma to the same standards? What's up? What's...up?

Maybe but not as much as the terrible tactics, gave the fight away leaving all the pressure on him for the second half of the fight. Early round performance clearly affects judges too so they had already decided to give Teo the fight after his strong start.

Lopez himself cited the reason. And he's said repeatedly that Lomachenko has declined/is declining.

Loma did not even try to go on the offensive early on, that is not ring rust that is a bad plan.

I thought it made a difference for Waiters. It did for Loma but Lopez' size, athleticism, and IQ won him the fight.

Maybe. It took him about 5 rounds just to throw 10 punches and another 2 rounds to find his range. He started way too cautiously and can only blame himself for the loss.

Yes there was some rust as you could clearly see once he got it going in the mid rounds he dominated the fight. To Teos credit though he won that last round by fighting like he was behind. Just a terrific young fighter.

This fight reminded me of Jermaine Taylor vs. Bernard Hopkins

    Who Waiters?

    THIS.

That's called trash talk. Like when Freddy said lil Floyd's legs is gone. Not worried about that.

I feel you but we gotta keep straight the same excuse standards when our favorite EE fighters lose too. That's all I'm sayin ya'll.

No, you could see that vs campbell. Campbell, he's no mayweather.
