All credit to his win tonight, especially at his age and lack of experience. But, I still do not see what is special about Teo Lopez. He is explosive and has speed and carries pop but he doesn't have head movement or good footwork. I don't think he has good defense. Lopez was getting tagged once Loma realized he needed to actually throw punches. Lopez even seemed rattled, maybe even hurt in spots.

But maybe I am being too hard on him, he did just beat a P4P level fighter at 23 years old. But I still see holes in his game he needs to tighten up or he is a KO waiting to happen.

    Just my humble opinion.

He understands the whole point is to punch and bust up your opponent. Which is more than we can say for Loma.

He gave Loma an education on what real boxing is. Not that amatuer pitty patty stuff.

Good win, lets see him do it against a legit puncher with his hands low and chin in the air.

Indeed, Loma started way too slow, which was stupid. Loma needed to get Lopez respect earlier, he didnt and paid for it.

You're not going to knock out elite fighters it happens when you step up in class. Loma is elite.

Well if he fought Shane Mosley or DLH he would probably get blasted out.

But they're ATGs who can take advantage of a guy like Lopez.

No, you can be flawed and still beat elite level fighters.

    1. Big power
    2. Great speed
    3. Great reflexes
    4. Excellent heart (could have gone down in the 8th or 11th; fought hard in the 12th)
    5. Great self-belief
    6. Can punch at distance and on the inside

Dude is a beast. Much better than I thought he was. Also has an excellent workrate and stamina.

The guy just handled Loma. LOMA.

    Give him props.

Agree. I actually do think Lopez power is legit and it is hard to knock out this level of opponent. I don't doubt his power, moreso his skillset.
