O'Connor is rightfully getting **** but the other card was also a disgrace. Even the card that had Vasquez winning was shite.

 

Michael Alexander gave the hometown decision, like he did for Warrington-Galahad.

 

People hate Hearn so they love to point the finger at him/match room but where’s the people holding the BBBoC to account? How can they still employ this man? It’s not a one off incident, it’s continuous, whether that’s on a Warren or Hearn show. He’s an absolute disgrace.

Hearn needs to put pressure on them because he’s lost a decent nights of boxing caught up in a scorecard controversy. Nobody is talking about anything else.

 

The man that is happy to be introduced as a World Champion having never won or defended a World Title fight in the ring.

Hearn doesn't care. He will act like he does but at the end if the day it's the greasing of palms that make this happen. He and other promoters are complicit.

 

Watched it back this morning. Struggled to give Ritson more than four rounds.

 

Terrible scorecard, Hearns right. Terry O'Connor shouldn't of had anything to do with boxing after the first Fury and McDermott fight.

 

Disgrace of a decision. As above, re-scored this morning, and being bias in Ritson’s favour you could only give him 4 rounds at most.

 

He won’t care about Vazquez no. He will care that his show is being overshadowed with bad press due to something that was out of his control.

 

Ritson clearly lost by 9 rounds in my book can't believe in sport today these decisions keep happening time and time again, think it's wrong slagging Ritson off though not the lads fault clearly being told he won the fight by his deluded corner team.

It was Ian John Lewis who raised O'Hara Davis's arm against Vasquez on the MTK card, an equally bad decision and it was all over IJL's face he knew exactly who won. It just goes to show that corruption and organised crime are still running boxing behind the scenes, disgraceful in 2020 that we can't give fighters an even playing field in what is supposed to be a civilised first world country.

 

If there was an element of randomness to the bad scoring you could make a case for just gross incompetence.

But every single one massively benefits the host promoter.

Eddie gets to keep world title fight at st James Park dream alive. Etc.

If no one had of kicked off, eddie wouldn't have said a word

 

Lets hope this puts an end to the ridiculous talk of Ritson fighting Regis Prograis but somehow i doubt it
