He is still uber talent. In the context of last fight, he was slightly overrtaed (because he has a ceiling weight, he Is clearly below of Manny/Floyd)

I don't know how you can say that when Floyd fought a 23 year old Canelo who had multiple world championship titles, and was regarded as being a better boxer relative to Lopez. Canelo also had a much bigger weight advantage than Floyd, compared to Lopez's weight advantage over Loma. Lomachenko is just as physically strong as Lopez, where as Canelo was a lot stronger than Floyd which is why Canelo was able to walk down big strong boxers like Chavez Jr, Kovalev, Danny Jacobs, and Golovkin.

Agreed. Also 32 is still prime. At that age GGG was widely considered the baddest man in boxing.

With 2 back to back Olympic and World golds Lomachenko is one of the most successful amateur boxers of all time at 396-1 with his only loss avenged twice over. As a pro, 15 of his 16 fights have been world championships leaving him 13-2 at elite level in three weight divisions. Like @Mendoza said, last night Loma simply looked his age and fought a bigger / younger fighter. Usyk be warned, those long amateur careers take their toll.

Of course he is not overrated. He is a great fighter he just met his nemesis last night like Salido. He is just not unbeatable like some want to think.

Everyone did say he would dominate Teo

Everyone said there is no way Teo can win by decision.

Yes Loma is overrated . but its the fans fault. They hyped him up . And i may of hyped him up at times also.

presents an intriguing debate, doesn't it?
    he's now 14-2.

if he "meets his nemesis" every 7 fights while looking like a G in the meantime, where does he really end up being rated?

Yeah, but now it becomes an excuse by the same guys who'd have you believe that GGG was more or less washed up at 34 and just not simply facing better fighters.

But at the same time Floyd, at 36, is apparently handpicking a green fighter when facing Canelo... It's all pretty nonsensical, but that is far from always a deterrent.

Absolutely not. He just needs to go back down to 126 or 130 lbs and he can show his class.

The problem is people were comparing him to Mayweather and pacman and just assumed he could move up multiple divisions like those 2. Pacman has lightning fast hands and true punching power in both hands.

Floyd was a large SFW with a freakish reach advantage that he carried with him up to 154 lbs. Even at JMW, he usually had a longer reach than his opposition who would constantly outweight him by 15+ pounds. Well that and the fact his defense, counterpunching ability and punching precision was just sublime.

If you are talking all time we can name several fighters who would have beaten him. Yes he is a great fighter but very beatable. Tank would have knocked him out. To be honest it was not a very difficult fight for Teofimo Lopez. Teofimo expected more of a challenge than he got.

the jury has to be out for me.
he's only had 14 pro fights, and he's lost 2 of them.

i'm always going to be a big believer that it's relatively easy to look like a beast when a fighter can control the fight, but it's how he reacts and adapts when things aren't going his way that ultimately define his career IMO.
