Lopez made it that way, there wasn’ta single thing loma could do until Lopez started to show from throwing hard shots every round

It didn't quite seem that way as soon as Loma let his hands go from round 8 to round 11.

For 4 rounds in a row... Lopez didn't know what to do.

And for a supposed big puncher, Lopez never hurt Loma once.

a rematch and Loma would start much faster. There would only be one winner.

i never saw Lopez effected by anything sans 2 separate head butts stunned him but no punch had any impact what so ever.

your eyes will lie to you when you want to see something do bad you’ll actually believe you’ve seen it when the truth is the opposite is what happened

Exactly, this played out to be the perfect mismatch in predicted all along. How some loma fans claim they seen a close fight says more about them than anything else.

no way does papa loma let him near any top tier fighter again. Loma was truly exposed

I'm shocked you didn't notice Loma dominate the second half of the fight. The disparity in skill level was completely evident in the second half. Don't hate appreciate.

Once Loma decided to come forward it was a beat down. I have no doubt low blow lopez gets schooled in a rematch.

Lopez was on the way to quitting had Loma turned it on earlier. You could see it in his face late in the fight he looked beaten and Loma looked annoyed. I don't think Lopez is mentally strong enough to last that onslaught for twelve rounds in a rematch.

Eh...I wouldn’t say he was “exposed”. His scissors met a rock. It doesn’t take away from how he good he is, but it looks like Teo has his number.

Loma got a ring rust. That's why he lost the fight. He will beat Lopez in the rematch I am sure. But, Lopez is having problems making 135 so I think that he will move up to 140 before the rematch takes place.

    No.

    1) He will be older.

    2) Teo was able to stop the lateral movement Lomachenko depends upon by a combination of his power threat keeping Loma on the outside, using his left arm to stop Loma's lateral step to Teofimo's left, and pushing Loma back to Teofimo's preferred range.

    3) Loma had success late when Lopez power was diminished, but he sacrificed too many early rounds. Staying in the pocket early will be dangerous for Loma.

    4) Bob Arum.

Gotta ask yourself if Top Rank is running both sides, why did they pick an east coast judge in Julie Lederman to judge in Vegas? Why did the WBC offer a 16 fight 23 year old a shot at the Franchise belt? Does Bob make more money with a classy but reserved 32 year old Eastern European, or a c*cky irreverent Hispanic American who has a number of great fights at 140 and 147 coming up the next 10 years?

    5) Vegas.

Sin City is where Eastern Europeans are sacrificed at the altar. Golovkin. Kovalev. Lomachenko. GGG had two fights in Vegas where between 6 judges he only won on one scorecard. Kovalev was pickpocketed in the first Ward fight. And now Loma gets the Vegas treatment with a 119 - 109 card. ‍♂️

I scored the fight a draw, but have no problem with the Lopez win as he clearly hurt Loma several times. But like Pacquiao against Bradley and Horn, promoter politics would weigh heavily in a rematch.
