I'd personally go for Hunter, anyone else on the 5 man shortlist would be a waste of time. If not Hunter then just give Wallin a rematch, he earned it IMO. Also he's 6ft 6 and big, so may be decent scrap before Joshua
Hunter or Wallin But we can't always have nice things, especially during these times. Just hope it opens the doorway for AJ.
Its going to be an underwhelming choice of opponent. There's no money or no gate for the fight and its mainly just a date to keep Fury active. These type of names are more realistic than the likes of Hunter , Wallin , Efe etc Hemi Ahio Newfel Ouatah Tyrone Sprong Demsey McKean
Hunter is defo the best challenge but won't happen. What about Helenius ? Yeah he's not very good but he's coming off a decent win against the American-Polish sausage Kownacki, he's a big dude and also apparently he's WBA Gold champion (whatever that means) so has some marketability.
Because Kabayel is in house, so the fight will be easy to make, and they can punch the ticket twice. I think every fan wants Hunter, though. That would be a meaningful win.
Form a fans perspective, Hunter is the best choice. Unfortunately, it's going to be some bum because that's how the business works these days.
Sounds like it's going to be Takam or Agit Kabayel. Takam lost to Chisora, Kabayel's hadest fight was Chisora... So basically this is going to be sparring session for Fury. If this is PPV I'm not buying.
Takam would be terrible. I'm hoping someone made a mistake and got Takam muddled up with Ajagba (both are from west Africa). .... although having said that, Ajagba is probably a bad fight too. Kabayel is okay but nowhere near PPV worthy, I agree.
