I can't see anybody taking even 2 rounds off him! Loma will be back to his best when he's back at his weight.
The way that a guy his size, pivoting and turning nullified Loma's angles, Stevenson has a decent chance to beat him. I personally don't want to see Loma run from lightweight just because its a tough division. He will be viewed as a coward if he moves back down to 130, which is less talented.
I'd like to see him stay at LW, for now. I don't think Teo has more than 1-2 more fights there anyway. Maybe the belts open up or Teo becomes open to a rematch.
Now that people saw you mostly need a strong jab, to pivot when Loma pivots there are going to be more fighters trying replicate the strategy.
i think berchelt would give loma all he can handle. not guaranteed to beat him, but he very well could. hes younger, very strong, always prepared for war. loma has been somewhat exposed, only in the fact that fighters are going to come at him hard now, knowing pressure makes him shy. they are also going to work on pivoting to the left whenever loma ducks and slips, which takes away his favorite angle. they are also going to pump a hard jab whenever loma leans forward to advance. if you think loma is still going to go out there and discourage young fighters, youre in for some disappointment.
Well a proven plan to beat him has now been written. So can anybody beat Loma yes, will they?, i would suggest that depends on whether Loma gets to work in early rounds or allows his opponent to build up unassailable lead.
