a fighter knows very early how dangerous a punch his opponent has, he feels it. if loma had not felt any hurt, he would have started pushing him to tire him, like you believe he was doing. but loma felt something that said "naah, i dont want any of that just yet". but since nothing changed after 7 he was forced to nut up and take his chances.
This content is protected For whatever reason -- fear of Lopez power, waiting for a mistake, waiting for Lopez to tire -- Loma waited and it cost him. Look, I would be wary of Lopez' power. Maybe that was it. Not sure. But he didn't land on Loma like Loma landed on him. No other way to say it. I have no problem with Lopez getting the nod. It was a fun fight and he's a great fighter.
the thing is, that weariness of his power would have disappeared once he tasted it and realized it was all bull...it didnt.
