Joshua wasn't green, and this is a complete and abject re-write of reality. I am all for saying that Fury should continue to prove himself, hopefully against AJ, but there is not diminishing what he has already accomplished. It only diminished you to try.
Joshua wasn’t green ? He went from facing Eric Molina directly into a fight with Klitschko. He had only been pro for 3.5 years at that point. Fury had been pro for 7 years before facing Klitschko and has extensive prior experience. And which part is a re-write of reality exactly ?
3.5 years, 18 fights, a world title, and wins over Whyte, Brezeale, Martin, and Molina. Nothing near "green." Do you know what it means to say that a fighter is "green?"
Believe that. Fury would KO Loma, Pac and Mayweather with just stiff jabs. 8-division champ is kiddie work against HW champ.
3.5 years and 18 fights is green. There are people on this forum who said Canelo was green when he fought Mayweather even though he had been boxing for almost ten years , had over 40 fights, and had multiple world titles in multiple weight divisions. You can have a world title and still be green
No, no it isn't. I like Joshua, I think he is a great fighter, but this is just excuse making. We have laid out the particulars, and we disagree. If anyone else wants to chime in, let't hear form them. Otherwise good night.
Before the 11th round, both Joshua and Wlad were knocked down once, and they were level or close to being level on points. (Fan and Judges have mixed views). The 11th round was all that really separated them. Joshua's knock downs and the final TKO came in quick succession. Joshua deserved the win, he was better, but not that much so. Fury vs Wlad was not a competition. Joshua vs Wlad WAS competition. That's the difference.
