    "ring generalship"

at no point in time was loma in any danger or not in control. Multiple times however, teo was getting tagged at will and stumbling on the ropes. Who was closer to getting stopped? Teofimo. That is why his face looked like it got hit with a brick afterwards.

There is a tree right now working very hard to provide you with oxygen. Please go outside and apologize to it.

This is the same thread you already wrote just phrased differently. Instead of reading what others have written and growing, not only as a person but as a true fan of boxing, you instead spout the same old nonsense.

    1. Mayweather Jr. never fought as you described and consistently threw sharp punches off the shoulder roll and pull counter.
    2. Loma did nothing for six rounds. Teo at least tried to box, throw punches (you know like boxers do) and took the rounds from sheer activity.
Please stop posting this tired thread. Makes me want to see another “If Cus D’Amato lived to be 100 Tyson never would have lost” thread.

Simple math really. More punches landed in more rounds means, you are the winner. FM never had a punch stat that had 40 total punches thrown in 7 rounds or whatever Loma threw.

Another reason why I know Loma lost. During the fight, people were posting their score and I didn't see too many Loma fans commenting on the terrible scoring on this site. Some guys had it 6-0, 7-0 at one point. Not a word. They knew what was going on and had no ready made excuse in real time. They waited until they had some trumped up excuse to cry about. LOL. This isn't as good as the reactions from the Kovalev whoopins, but it sure is entertaining. Keep up the good work! guys.

Hey dip****, "trying to box" doesn't win rounds. Punching air doesn't win rounds. Punching gloves doesn't win rounds. Punching elbows doesn't win rounds. Just moving forward but not doing anything doesn't win rounds. And in the first half of the fight, loma was landing sharp counter jabs just like floyd does. Sniping.

Not throwing punches for most of the 7 first rounds, doesnt win rounds.

All Floyd had to do in Vegas was turn up, dance backwards round the ring. Then grab & hold when he needed a rest. When the final round bell went if he was still standing Floyd KNEW he would not lose. It was that blatant

Loma and Floyd are two of my favourites ever to watch fight but while watching Loma Lopez on the weekend I thought about the first Floyd Maidana fight where Floyd maybe lost the first 3 rounds before making the necessary adjustments. Loma was unable to do the same. It shows how great Floyd's ring IQ was just naturally he really was incredible at making adjustments on the fly. In saying that I also don't think that Loma has the natural physical attributes that Floyd had such as his body frame and physical strength that is why I think that Floyd was able to move up and beat elite fighters who were bigger than him. Loma is still great as his natural ability was enough to move up and beat good fighters who were bigger than him but not elite explosive fighters like Lopez.

That's why I had Canelo beating Golovkin in the first fight.

Canelo landed the better punches, made Golovkin miss and pay.

It was a close fight where I have GGG 5 rounds but could see 6-6 or even 7-5 for GGG.

After fighting as a world champion for years, Floyd fought a guy who had never boxed a pro bout and counted it on his record.
That tells us all we need to know about Floyd.
If he had any integrity at all, he would have fought Conor with a mixed rule set and had it as an exo.

That's an excellent question that I've been pondering for the last 15 years, and the only answer I can come up with is that they're shameless ****ing massive hypocrites while completely clueless that they're shameless ****ing massive hypocrites. Because most of them are actually fanboys and don't know what they're watching.
